I’ve had the honor of knowing Emily for a few years now. She knows me pretty personally being my dental hygienist and all. When she told me she was engaged I nearly jumped out of the chair with excitement for her. Only I didn’t as she had some tools in my mouth at the time that wouldn’t have been a good result for me. Anyways, I was just thrilled and of course we started talking wedding talk instantly. It’s one thing I’ll never get tired of talking about! A few months later Michael and I met with Emily and Adam and we just felt it. That rare connection that just lingers for days. We walked away from our meeting in agreement that they are two awesome people that we would love to be friends with. When you meet cool people like that all you can do is hope, wish and pray that they choose you.
Well, they did and we were so happy! Working together we planned a meaningful engagement session at locations that represented and reflected their relationship. MIA was the perfect backdrop for their love of art. Minnehaha creek is a place they often take day-long bike trips together and Lake Harriet holds a very special place in their hearts. We had the best time together getting to know them more and just having some good’ol fun. We can’t wait for their wedding next summer!
