Wedding days are some of my favorite days. There is so much joy and love in the air that you can’t help but be happy right along with the bride and groom. When I first sat down with Lori, the bride, and her matron of honor, Lexie, I could see how much she loved Mike, her groom, by just the way her eyes lit up when she talked about him. As we were talking it was clear that the wedding wasn’t the important part of the day for her, it was marrying the love of her life. It was being able to call him her husband and start the next part of their journey in life together. But at their wedding I witnessed something unique, something that I don’t often get the pleasure to witness, let alone capture. This wedding, like others, had that same feeling of love and joy, but there was more than that. There were two families joining together so beautifully and so naturally it was clear that it was truly meant to be. As both of their adult children have formed friendships through their relationship, they welcomed one another with wide open arms and talked of all the fun times they’ve already had together. And to think, that’s just the beginning of their beautiful future. I am so happy for Mike and Lori and wish them the best on all of the adventures they set out on. Cheers!
