[tweetmeme]Everyday I can be found behind my desk editing sessions, emailing with clients and completing the general tasks that I must do in order to run my photography business. As much as I enjoy every minute of it, I can get so wrapped up in the to-do lists and the tasks at hand that I find myself craving to get behind the lens and refresh myself. In order to keep growing, I need to keep shooting and teaching myself to really look around, find the details, practice my techniques and create my own inspiration. So I’ve created a new project that will be ongoing and added to at random times. I hope you enjoy what I see around me as much as I enjoy sharing it with you!
If you’d like to join me in this project, I’ve created a Flickr group where you can post your images. We all know that the perfect shot doesn’t come easy. Sometimes it takes a change of perspective, setting adjustments or even a change of subject to nail what we desire. Share images that you really had to work for and tell us how you accomplished it. I’d love to see what you’re up to and how your keeping yourself Fresh!
I saw this faucet was I was walking out of my building one day and was attracted to the colors. I started shooting this as a landscape, looking for the long DOF. After 3 or 4 shots, I just wasn’t feeling it. So I turned my camera vertical and boom! I was a happy girl. :)
